Can you imagine that there are some people who don’t drink water? Oh, you’re one of them? If you are, you are probably also one of those people who have lots of complaints due to not feeling well most of the time.
Water is essential to human health and well-being. The ‘hydro-haters,’ those who hate water, are willing to risk severe dehydration. Many are even willing to be hospitalized and get rehydrated intravenously rather than taking a sip of water.
It comes as no surprise to me when some people who have been suffering a variety of ills for years come to my office and during the course of getting to the bottom of their ailments, I find out that they haven’t had a drink of real plain water in decades. Very often these people were not taught to drink water as children. Maybe their parents didn’t like the taste of water. The dislike of water is more common than you would think.

One fellow came in with many complaints – he had been drinking a case of cola … every day … for years! I talked about shifting over to water – and I never saw him again.
